Coldbet’s live betting is one of the stronger parts of the platform. There is plenty going on, the market depth is serious, and the odds we checked were generally on par with bigger names like 1xBet rather than obviously shaved down because Coldbet is a smaller brand.
For Zambian bettors who spend most of their time in-play, this is not some thin side product bolted onto the sportsbook. It is busy, quick and built for people who actually like following several matches at once.

The live lobby covers the obvious sports first, including:
There are plenty of smaller categories further down as well. The number of live events changes constantly, but the important bit is that Coldbet rarely feels empty. Football naturally gets most of the attention, while tennis, esports and cricket give you enough to work with when the football calendar goes quiet.
The layout is practical too. You can filter by sport, jump into recommended or top games, and search directly for a match rather than scrolling through everything on the page.
Open an individual event and Coldbet really starts to show its depth. A football match can run into well over 100 live markets, with the usual totals, handicaps, next-goal markets, result combinations and more specific in-play options all sitting under the same event.
The interface also brings in useful live information such as:
That makes a big difference. You are not constantly flicking between Coldbet and a score app just to work out what is happening.
Market groups can be collapsed, and there is a market search as well. That sounds minor until you are staring at 150 or 200 betting options and just want the next-goal market without scrolling for half a minute.
The Multi-LIVE section is one of our favourite tools here. Instead of opening one match, backing out, opening another and repeating the whole dance, you can load several live events side by side and follow their markets from the same screen.
For a busy Saturday, this is excellent. One panel can have football, another tennis or cricket, and you can keep an eye on both without losing your place.
It works best on desktop, where there is enough screen space for multiple event panels and their markets. On mobile, it becomes more cramped and loses some of the point.
If you mainly bet from Android, the normal live section works better on a small screen. Our Coldbet app guide covers the mobile setup separately.
Coldbet does offer live streams, but coverage is limited. Some events have a stream panel built into the live page, which is handy when it appears. The problem is that you cannot rely on it across the schedule.
If streaming is one of your main reasons for choosing a bookmaker, Coldbet is not the platform I would pick for that feature alone. You are much more likely to use the live stats and event tracker than sit there watching every match directly inside the sportsbook.
That is the main gap in an otherwise strong live product.
Yes. The important thing is that the live sportsbook feels properly developed. There is enough action, enough market depth and competitive enough pricing that we do not feel the need to keep running back to the bigger brands.
Multi-LIVE is excellent on desktop, the event pages give you useful match data, and the market search stops things becoming messy once the options pile up.
The weak point is streaming. If Coldbet expands that side, there will not be much left to criticise.
As it stands, live betting is one of the better reasons to use Coldbet in Zambia. If you plan to bet in-play regularly, it is also worth checking the Coldbet bonuses guide first, because some sports offers have minimum-odds, accumulator and wagering rules that can change whether a live bet actually counts.
