Coldbet Partners gives Zambia-focused affiliates a fairly flexible setup, but the headline numbers need reading properly. The program advertises up to 60% RevShare and $200 CPA. Those are ceilings, not the deal everyone gets.
Standard RevShare runs from 20% to 50% of NGR, while CPA ranges from $10 to $200 per qualifying FTD depending on GEO and traffic quality. Before sending Zambian traffic, get the actual Zambia rate from the affiliate manager.
RevShare is calculated from NGR rather than raw player losses. Royalties, payment processing, player bonuses and a 5% platform fee come off first. Normally the administration deduction averages 25%-30% before your commission is calculated.
That matters more than another five points of RevShare. A 50% deal can look very different once the NGR formula has done its work.
| Model | Details |
|---|---|
| RevShare | 20%-50% of NGR |
| Exclusive RevShare | Up to 60%, agreed in writing |
| CPA | $10-$200 per qualifying FTD |
| Hybrid | CPA + RevShare, individually agreed |
| Sub-affiliate | Up to 5% |
CPA has a 7-28 day hold period, with a soft cap of 50 FTDs per period.
There is enough local fit here to make the brand easier to promote than a generic offshore bookmaker.
The cashier is the obvious example. Players can use Zambian kwacha, deposits start at 10 kwacha, and Airtel, MTN and Zamtel are available for funding. The problem is the other direction: Airtel is currently the only local mobile-money withdrawal method.
That is not something I would bury. MTN is a useful acquisition angle, but an MTN depositor still needs to understand the withdrawal setup. Our Coldbet payments guide covers the player side properly.
The rest of the product gives affiliates room to build content around actual use rather than pumping out bonus pages. Live betting is strong, esports is unusually detailed, and the casino has enough depth for separate guides. The full Coldbet review ties those pieces together.
The application is straightforward, but Coldbet wants to know where the players will actually come from. You provide your contact details, messenger account, country, traffic source, website or URL, category and preferred payment method.
Have a proper traffic source ready before applying. A working Zambia betting site gives the affiliate manager something to assess. An empty domain with a logo does not.
Once approved, you get access to the affiliate dashboard, tracking links and promotional material.
The minimums look friendly:
There is one bigger condition behind them: you need at least five lifetime FTDs before Coldbet will process a payout.
That can matter in Zambia if you are starting with a smaller site. You might generate enough commission to clear the $30 threshold quite quickly and still have to wait for another depositor or two.
Payout methods include Visa, Mastercard, SEPA, Skrill, USDT and Bitcoin.
The partner app is one of the better extras here. Android and iOS affiliates can check clicks, FTDs, conversions, earnings and individual referrals without going back to the desktop dashboard. You can also generate links, view reports and submit payout requests.
For anyone running traffic daily, that is actually useful. You can see whether registrations are turning into depositors while you are away from the laptop instead of waiting until the evening to discover that nothing converted.
There is a separate player-side Coldbet app too, which is relevant when promoting the brand in Zambia. Android users get the better end of that deal.
Coldbet prohibits fake or incentivised traffic, cookie stuffing, self-referrals and manipulation of tracking.
Branded PPC requires permission, and traffic cannot be sent from markets where the promotion of online gambling is prohibited. Breaches can lead to account termination and loss of commissions.
Nothing exotic there. Just do not get clever with attribution and assume the affiliate manager will never notice.
There is a workable affiliate program here, but I would judge it on the Zambia deal you actually receive, not the 60% banner.
The brand has enough local relevance to promote without inventing a story around it, tracking is properly set up, and the payout threshold is low once you clear the five-FTD requirement.
Get the Zambia CPA or RevShare rate in writing, run the NGR maths, then decide. That tells you far more than the homepage headline ever will.
